Why recycle wood

• Only 10% of the estimated 9 million tonnes of waste wood is recycled (WRAP).
• The commercial sector pays to dispose of waste wood which often is unnecessarily land-filled.
• This vast quantity of good quality wood can be saved from ending up in landfill through our cost effective, collection service.
• We extend the life of current landfill site and therefore delay the opening of new site.
• Reducing the volumes of imported wood.
• Reducing transport costs and energy use.
• Saving money for suppliers and consumers.
