This week we carried out our last Wood recycling collections for Midas Construction at their now completed £7m development of the new Matravers School in Westbury.
Please note we will be closed this Bank Holiday Weekend from Saturday 24th up to and including Monday 26th.
This week sees our last collections from the Willmott Dixon site at Hunts Grove Primary School as they are now finished with this lovely build . We look forward to working with them on future projects.
We are happy to have been awarded our Disability Confident employer certification once again.
One of our customers popped in this Afternoon for some wood for a project. We had previously donated Wood to the Charity he is involved with and he shared with us what that wood had been used for and it was a very good use indeed!
And here it is in situ! These are the old ships timbers we sold as a garden feature in place and very nice they look too!

If you wanted it? too late it’s sold! The lucky customer took delivery of our Garden feature yesterday. This comprised of 3 pieces of very and old beautifully weathered Oak Ships timbers from a wreck site discovered on the south coast. The timbers were carbon dated to at least 300years old and could possibly have been older. They may have been from two Warships and formed the Keelson of one. If only they could talk! We still have a few 2m x 30cm square beams from the same ships left.
We’ve just finished this great Climbing frame -slide combo for Allsorts pre-School and Nursery in Royal Wootton Bassett. It should bring hours of fun for the Children there.
We’re happy to be supporting Circus Starr CIC again this year to fund a trip to the Circus for disadvantaged and disabled Children

Great to see our reclaimed Pallet wood being put to good use. These display stands are in the Bath Bike Workshop, a Social Enterprise run by the Julian House Charity.
We have some lovely 200 year old Oak beams in at the moment, all around 30cm square by 200cm long, call for prices.
Three more of our B&Q stores have joined the Millenium club this Month, each having recycled over 1000 cubic yards of wood with us. Well done to the St Oswalds Gloucester, Cribbs Causeway and Barnfield Road Swindon branches.

We are just taking our last loads of recycling from the Taylor Wimpey Abode site in Bishops Cleeve , Cheltenham. In the 30 months we have serviced the site we have collected, reused and recycled around 1750 cubic yards of Wood waste from there.
Due to ever escalating costs we have had to increase our prices this year. This is the first time in 3 years we have raised our prices but we can’t afford to absorb the increases anymore. A new Timber price list is up on the ‘Wood Shop’ page and any new prices will come into effect from April 2018.

Well Spring has Sprung and it’s Snowed!. Despite the small glitch we are all ready here with Timber for Raised beds, Planters, Picnic Benches, Trellis and Fencing so pop in and see what we have.

It’s January and a New Year and soon it will be spring so we are prepared! We have raised beds, scaffold boards, sleepers and fencing to help your Garden look it’s best plus if you need anything bespoke made our Workshop will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Just a reminder, we do collect Bulky household waste at prices cheaper and than the local Authority with a 48 hr turnaround. We can remove your green waste too so if you’ve had a Hedge cut or removed or Trees pruned get in touch, we can help.

Just a reminder that both Wiltshire and Gloucester branches will be closed from Lunchtime on the 23/12/16 and will re-open again on Tuesday 3/1/17.

Gloucester update: Due to unexpected delays with our Solicitor we will now be opening the branch later this Month, not June as hoped!

If we don’t encounter any problems the new Gloucester Branch should be opening in late June. We cover the area now but this will enable us to offer a quicker response time and also offer volunteering, training and work experience placements to that part of the country.
We are closed from Good Friday 25/3 until Easter Monday 28/3 inclusive. It will be business as usual from Tuesday 29/3/16. Have a good weekend!.

25/9/14. Wiltshire Wood Recycling are happy to announce we will be working with Balfour Beatty and Kier Group on Project Hercules at R.A.F Lyneham which will eventually become the first joint Armed forces training facility for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation .
